Pro Bono Volunteer of The Month – January 2022
Carlos Morales, Esq. | Morales Injury Law
Carlos Morales migrated to the United States at an early age. After high school, Carlos served in the United State Military before obtaining both his undergraduate degree and law degree from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas.
After law school, Carlos worked with Marshal Willick, who instilled in him the importance of pro bono. In fact, Carlos’s first client at Willick Law Group was a pro bono client. The client had been abandoned with no contacts in Las Vegas. She was living in a women’s shelter and, over the course of a year, he was able to help her through her divorce and reunite her with her children. He still keeps in touch with his client to ensure her and her kids are doing well.
Carlos took his experience and opened Morales Injury Law. Since its inception, Morales Injury Law has been heavily involved in pro bono. Carlos is a key volunteer for the Pro Bono Project. He actively participates in the Family Law Ask-A-Lawyer, Veterans Ask-A-Lawyer, represents family law clients and represented a child in a CAP case.
For his commitment to pro bono, we honor Carlos Morales as Legal Aid Center’s January 2022 Volunteer of the Month.
