A newborn baby boy was taken into the custody of CCFS due to mother’s drug use compromising her ability to provide proper care for the child. It’s reported that the mother has a history of drug use; she tested positive for methamphetamine and fentanyl at the time of birth. The Agency is working on establishing paternity. At this time, this newborn baby boy is in need of an attorney to represent his wishes and legal rights as to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place. Next Hearing(s):  Disposition Hearing on 7/23/2024 at 1:30 pm; Review Hearing on 10/1/2024 at 3:00 pm and Permanency Planning Hearing on 4/1/2025 at 2:15 pm in Courtroom 11.
