Two siblings, a 5-year old girl and a newborn baby boy came into the custody of CCFS due to allegations of parental drug use, improper supervision, and physical and emotional abuse. The mother reported the abuse. The mother reported struggling with drugs, which compromise her ability to care for the minor children. She has a history of drug use and continues to use drugs while the children are under her care. At this time, these two minors are in need of an attorney to represent their wishes and legal rights as to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place. Next Hearing(s): Disposition Hearing on 7/2/2024 at 1:30 pm; Calendar Call on 9/3/2024 at 10:30 am and Adjudicatory Trial on 9/26/2024 at 9:30 am in Courtroom 11.
