Francisco Morales

Volunteer of the Month – April 2024

Francisco Morales  – Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck

Francisco was born in Michoacán, Mexico, and immigrated to the United States at the age of 7. He pursued his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and, later, his J.D. from the Williams S. Boyd School of Law.

As a first-generation college and law student, Francisco’s experience in a disadvantaged household has been a driving force behind his pro bono work.  He vividly recalls how a pro bono attorney, like a guiding light, helped his family navigate complex immigration paperwork.  This selfless act resulted in green card approvals for him and his sister, a turning point in their lives.  Inspired by this, Francisco is no committed to continuing the cycle of help and support for those in need.

Francisco has done pro bono work ever since he became an attorney, and he praised Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck for their integration of pro bono service within the firm’s culture.  When asked about a memorable case he worked on, Francisco stated that he recently represented two minors in guardianship proceedings. Francisco provided the children a voice in court and is happy to report that the court placed his minor clients in a loving home.  Francisco is confident that their futures will be bright.  He encourages all young attorneys to get involved with pro bono work, saying that while it may seem intimidating, the help and support given is second to none.

For his commitment to pro bono, we honor Francisco Morales-Sánchez as our April Volunteer of the Month.
