Pro Bono Volunteer of the Month-February 2019
Molly Rosenblum of Rosenblum Law Offices
Molly Rosenblum has been practicing law for 16 years. She grew up in Las Vegas and graduated from Valley High School. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada Reno and received her law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV where she graduated cum laude. Ms. Rosenblum is the founder of Rosenblum Law Offices where she almost exclusively practices family law.
Molly has made providing pro bono services a part of her firms culture. She represented her first pro bono client through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada in 2011. Since then, she has represented a total of 26 pro bono cases. Molly most recently answered our call for help with family law cases by volunteering to help 6 new clients. When we asked why she does pro bono work, she responded “I enjoy it and I believe it is my obligation as an attorney practicing in the community to provide legal services to those who can’t afford them.”
We asked Molly to share a story about a memorable client and she said “I have had LOTS of memorable clients. My most enjoyable clients are the children I represent in CAP cases. In every CAP case, I am truly representing those that have no voice in the court system without a lawyer. It is always rewarding to see children achieve permanency whether that is with a biological parent or with an adoptive resource.”
For her commitment to pro bono, we honor Molly Rosenblum as our February Volunteer of the Month.
