1.0 General CLE credit available for attorneys who are active volunteers with the Pro Bono Project

The needs of youth with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities are often significant and complex. It is critical that attorneys representing these youth in child welfare cases understand the client’s diagnoses and needs, as well as the services and supports available to them. This CLE goes over the different assessments used to diagnose these disabilities and new specialized placement options, as well as strategies to overcome potential barriers in accessing services and supports in the community and in schools.
