1.0 General CLE credit available to attorneys who take a new pro bono case
Thousands of children in Clark County are cared for by someone other than their parents due to their parents’ death, incarceration, or unsuitability. These children, who are outside the supervision of Children’s Protective Services, have largely gone without advocacy, despite facing many of the same issues as children in the dependency system. This seminar goes over the role of the children’s attorney and an overview of the court proceedings and processes involved in guardianship cases for both guardianships of the person and estate.
