1.0 General CLE credit available to attorneys who take a new pro bono CAP or guardianship case
Did you know that in Nevada, there are two statutory paths to guardianship? Family members can initiate a guardianship case under NRS 159A, but youth in foster care can find permanency in a guardianship under NRS 432B. This CLE discusses the difference between these two pathways, the procedural law behind each guardianship, and the pros and cons to each. This program is presented by Janice Wolf (Children’s Attorneys Project Directing Attorney) and Marina Dalia-Hunt (Minor Guardianship Staff Attorney).
