This training provides the tools, strategies, and resources to effectively represent pro bono clients in civil rights lawsuits. Professor Karen Blum, JD, LLM, presents the CLE and has over 40 years of litigation and reaching experience in the areas of civil rights, civil procedure, federal courts, and police misconduct litigation. She reviews the basics of 1983 claims, with a focus on 8th Amendment Deliberate Indifference claims.
