Pick up informal and litigation strategies to support Children in care

Attendees will learn how to direct the child welfare agency’s duties to provide support to children in care, to use reasonable efforts to keep the child connected with their family, and to achieve permanency in ways that accomplish desired outcomes for clients. Different strategies for meeting clients’ needs will be discussed, including both informal and litigation strategies, as well as potential challenges and solutions due to recent Nevada Supreme Court rulings.
