Caleb L. Green

Caleb L. Green, our Volunteer of the Month for March 2026, is a standout attorney and an undeniable pillar of our legal community. Mr. Green’s contributions to our various pro bono initiatives are extensive, serving underrepresented clients in our Children’s Attorneys Project (CAP), Consumer and Guardianship cases, and Ask-A-Lawyer programs. In addition to the direct legal services he provides to these vulnerable individuals, Caleb also regularly teaches our Small Business Program classes, imparting imperative legal knowledge to our community members.

Caleb Green’s impressive participation in our pro bono program dates back to the very origins of his legal career. As a student at the William S. Boyd School of Law, he first began volunteering with our firm by hosting informational classes for the Immigration Program. Here, he facilitated the exchange of potentially life-altering legal information for the public. Shortly thereafter, Caleb expanded his efforts to include advocating for special-needs foster students through our Volunteer Educational Advocate program. Caleb reflects fondly on these volunteer opportunities, stating: “Those early experiences demonstrated how powerful community-centered legal work can be.”

Now, as an attorney at Howard & Howard, Caleb continues to honor his commitment to community-centered legal advocacy. Currently, Caleb has an array of open pro bono cases, including a guardianship case representing a brother and sister. He also represents three child-aged siblings who were removed from their tenuous home environment due to physical abuse and parental substance abuse. Without Caleb’s expert legal assistance, these children would be left to languish voiceless in their ongoing court proceedings. To Caleb, this advocacy work is particularly meaningful: “pro bono work allows us to use our skills to elevate the voices of individuals who simply cannot navigate the legal system alone. It is a reminder that the law is at its best when it is accessible, equitable, and responsive to the needs of the most vulnerable members of our community.”

Caleb Green tackles our most complex pro bono cases, including those requiring specialized legal knowledge in nuanced fields. One such case was through a collaborative effort between Caleb and the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Resiliency Center, where he represented a client whose case required a deep understanding of the intersections of publicity, copyright, privacy, and other legal issues connected to sex trafficking. Caleb recalls the case circumstances clearly: “This client had endured exploitation that weaponized her identity and likeness, leaving her uncertain about her rights and overwhelmed by the complex legal landscape of intellectual property law.” Using his legal acuity in intellectual property and privacy law, Caleb provided tailored, trauma-informed legal representation; he states, “my work focused on helping her regain control of her name, image, and story.”

When prompted to reflect on the nature of pro bono participation, Caleb states: “Many individuals who seek help through LACSN are navigating life altering challenges—housing instability, safety concerns, financial exploitation, or other crises. Being able to provide clarity, support, and legal protection during those moments is one of the greatest honors of my professional career. [This] work keeps us grounded in why the legal profession exists in the first place: to serve people.”

We are proud to honor Caleb Green as our Volunteer of the Month!

Boyd School of Law.

Caleb serves as an adjunct professor at the Boyd School of Law, where he teaches intellectual property courses and supports the law school’s externship program. In 2025, he was honored to serve as the Spring Commencement Speaker at the William S. Boyd School of Law. From 2023 to 2025, he served as President of the Las Vegas Chapter of the National Bar Association, leading impactful initiatives that supported legal education, diversity, and community advocacy. Caleb currently serves as the 2026 Chair of the Vegas Young Professionals (VYP) program with the Vegas Chamber, continuing his commitment to developing the next generation of leaders in Southern Nevada.

Beyond his extensive work with LACSN, Caleb also takes on pro bono matters through the UNLV Immigration Clinic and through his church, Immanuel’s Temple, reflecting his broader commitment to service and community uplift. Caleb also separately represents clients pro bono in copyright issues—these clients include retirees, journalists, faith communities, nonprofit organizers, and small business owners. Caleb also presented a bill in front of the Nevada Legislature aimed at curbing predatory copyright troll practices statewide.

Across all facets of his work, Caleb is guided by a belief that the legal profession must remain deeply connected to the communities it serves. His long‑standing partnership with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada reflects that commitment, and he is honored to be recognized as the March 2026 Pro Bono Volunteer of the Month.
